Which Part of the JIT report refers to EAD application when you file for AOS?

Guys some of us are carrying on a conversion
in another thread

Bongo "Where are all the EAD card approvals?" 9/7/01 10:21am

This point came up, can anyone help?

Hang on if you look at Fragoman\'s site:
www.fdbl.com the JIT report listed there
is as follows.

a) I-765 30 Day 07/11/01 -(c)(8) Initial (c)(3)(iv) Special
    Students)

b) I-765 90 Day 06/14/01 -(a)(6), (a)(13), (c)(1), (c)(2), (c)(3),
    (c)(4), (c)(5), (c)(6), (c)(7), (c)(8) replace/renewal

I was assuming a) because it says "Initial" it referred to our
cases. Now b) says "replace/renewal" so isn\'t this for people
who want to replace/renew their cards after already receiving
the first one?

Check the I-765 instructions

Go to the ins web site and download the I-765 application form. The various categories c(3), c(8) etc., are explained there.

MTom,

Yes, but filing for EAD along with 485 is (c)(9) and it is not included in any of the above!!! Probably INS don\'t care about this kind of EAD filing (atleast for tracking purpose!) :)

I think the part (b) applies to us.

After reading the instructions, it appears
the 30 day part only applies to asylum
seekers.

But PCee is right, (c)(9) Adjusting status
category is not listed.

Oh well. Now at least I know not to look
at JIT report. Before the JIT report used
to be quite good for EAD cards because
a) and b) used to be the same latetly,
a) is much later than b).
