Which option to choose when making an InfoPass appointment?

Which option should I choose when making an InfoPass appointment to appear for Green Card passport stamping? I am not sure which of the 2 options mentioned below would be correct?

1. You have received an approval letter or Form I-797C from the Service Center or local office instructing you to come into the office for alien identification card processing / passport stamp.

2. You wish to speak to an immigration officer.

Although option 1 above seems more appropriate, I have read about people choosing the second option. Please advice.

Thanks!

Choose Option 1: You have received an approval letter.

As such when you reach there with the Infopass appointment - they ask you why you are there.

I took the appointment and it came back with this list of things to bring. Do we need to get all original documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, educational transcripts, experience letters etc. besides Passport, EAD, AP and photos?

You must appear in person and bring photo identification along with this appointment letter.
• Acceptable forms of identification are any of the following: Government issued identification, passport, valid driver's license, I-94, Work Authorization Card, or Permanent Resident Card. (Green Card)
• In order to serve you more efficiently, we require you to bring all applicable immigration forms, letters, receipts, translations and originals of supporting documents.
• Bring with you the approval letter / Form I-797C, 2 passport-style photographs (2 if temporary card needed), and a valid, unexpired passport.

Scheduling tip for Philly Infopass!

Another strange thing I noticed is that first couple of times I tried to get the appointment with the 610 area code (common in Philly), it didn't allow me to schedule appointment, but when I tried with 484 area code, it went through fine. Not sure if they have placed a block on 610 area code or they have allocated quota based on area codes?

I took all the docs that I sent out for the 485 but nobody asked for it. The only things needed were: Passport, I94, Photos, EAD and AP if any - alongwith the Infopass printout ofcourse. Same thing happened with all the other guys I know.

Thanks Dharma, that helps!
