which month am i ?

hi , my RD is 28th April,2001 and ND is 12th July,2001. when will my application be picked up for processing April batch or July batch?

Processing is based on ND though IIO say it is based on RD. Actually INS considers ND as RD in their view.

positively your\'s is JULY batch........still a long way to go....

not necessarily long way to go,

since April, May, June combined batch equals to March batch ,
we could see approvals for July ND in two months. i.e. January 2002.

if VSC maintains normal processing speed, April, May, June ND will almost get proceesed around same time.

This is based on the mailroom issue happend between May and June .

Anyone has other thought ?

Yeah you are right.

I feel when they process April cases all April thru July ND dates will be processed almost parallelly.

pargop, that means the number of cases received (RD) in April, May, June

are mostly (I would say 80 -90%) getting July ND ( i.e. VSC entered
those cases into their system around same time in July) ,

If you check VSC graphs(#3. Waiting& Approval pattern by ND) on www.immitracker.com , you would have the whole picture very clear. the vertical bars for April, May, and June are much shorter than other months, if you add the height for these three months, you almost get same height as March , that\'s the source of my theory .
