Hello,
I have an I-797 from a company A and have taken an online appt at the
consulate in Mumbai for 29th Dec 2004. Accordingly I need to send in
my papers to the consulate before 29 Nov 2004, to avoid my appt from
being cancelled. I am currently in US on H1 visa of company A and am
about to go through a premium process to transfer my visa to company
B.
This will take abt 10-12 days after which I'll have I-797 from company B.
My problem is, for the papers to reach Mumbai I have to mail them in
next 2 days to avoid losing my appointment at the consulate. So do I
send the copy of I-797 of company A or B? Can I send in company A's
I-797 now and as soon as I have the company B's I-797, send that
seperately to the consulate?
Any help will be most appreciated.
