hi cper\'s, could someone please tell me which from do I need to fill up as part of p3 to NVC - is it I-864 or _i-134 for employment based immigration?
all comments would be apprecciated.

If you have family (wife/children) who will immmigrate with you then

You will fill I-134 for each member of the family.
If you are the only one immigrating your employment letter is all you need

I-184 is for family based immigration not for Employment based

because I see in form I-134 there is a col for child info.

What should be filled at line 10 of I-134 which says
--That I have submitted visa petition(s) to the INS on behalf of following.

Since I am applying to Consulate in India for following to join.
Should I write there as "none"

Yes -put None

I-134 is also used for family based pettitions and at times Citizens have applied for children first and parenst and siblings later. It is just to capture that info. Does not apply to you in Emp based immigration
