I have my Biofather and Biomother, also have adoption-father and adoption-mother. I have my Birth Certificate and adoption certificate.

I filled my Adoption-father and mother when I applied my visa 5 years ago at an embassy of US. when I applied for Canada immigration in US 2 years ago, I filled my Biofather and biomother for the consistency with my Birth Certificate.

Now I will fill I-485, which father should fill? If I fill my adoption-father and monther, I am afraid this will confuse the officer if they find the inconsistency with my birth certificate. If I fill my Biofather and mother, the officer my find the inconsistency with the documents at embassy where I applied my visa 5 years ago and probably inconsistency with the documents in Canada during the Background check.

Who knows that which father I should fill by the law? and what should I do for my case to avoid the confusing the Immigration Officer?

Thank you

Whichever set of parents you put in the form, you can always attach a supplement document to the form explaining the situation.
