Which center???

Last fall I filed I130 standalone for IR1 category and sent it in to the lockbox in Phoenix as directed and live in TX. It was sent to the NBC in Missouri since they were load-balancing. Many folks mention that they filed in a certain center in Vermont or Cali...but I did not file in any of those places since the directions stated send in to the lockbox...how come folks are filing/allocated to a specific service center? Also, the timing charts are all based on centers and I don't have one...any clarification is much appreciated. Thank you.

If you live in Texas you need to mail application to Phoenix and that what you have done. That's correct. According to the state you live the lock box differs. People in Alabama,Connecticut,Georgia etc need to send it to Chicago lock box. Why don't you check out USCIS website for more info?!
