Which ASC for Interm EAD and Early FP?

Hi,

I need to walk into an ASC to get an interm EAD.
Can I walk into any ASC, or do I have to walk into
a specific one based on home address work address etc?

If I get a FP notice and it says to go to say,
San Jose. Can I go early to another ASC (say
Oakland) and get it done there? Or do I have
to get the FP done at the designed ASC?

No written rules on this. You just have to try. However,
from our experiences, San Jose offices, both INS office
and ASC, are very flexible on finger print issue. You
can go there earlier than scheduled time.

How about EAD card?

I understand that I need to queue up at
about 2am at San Jose. But what if
my designated office is Oakland and
San Jose won\'t let me apply for a card
there.

Please help, is your designated office
deemed by work location or home location.
