Which Address is to be used on GC application

Hi all,

Thanks for the support so far.

Here is my situation:

Me : On F1 visa, studying in MD

Husband: USC working in MA

Stayed with my husband in summer and going back to MD for school which begins for Fall on Aug 21st

Plan: To file AOS for GC with I-130 and I-485 together very soon.

My husband is planning to work from home for the next 3-4 months and stay with me in MD.

He intends to relocate to the place where I would have a job after getting my GC.

We have 2 apartments ( one each in MD and MA ) and I have to be added in his lease and he in mine.

Where do we file the GC from ? MD or MA ?

Which address do we use on my GC application ?

or Do I take a break from School and stay with him in MA till I get GC ?

Please help me with your suggestions to resolve this.
 
Decide which place is your primary address as a couple, and use that going forward. Send bills and bank statements there. One of you should change driver's license/state ID to match the other so both of you have the same address on the ID.

The fingerprinting and interview will be in or near the city you list for your address on the I-485, so the MD address may be more convenient.
