Whether I can work on H1B if I am paroled in using AP

Hi!

I am working on H1B visa. My I-140 and I-485 is under Process. My H1B visa is valid till June 2004 but visa stamping on my passport is going to be expired after one week.

I am planning to go to India in April 2004 and enter US using Advance Parole.

My question is:
1) Whether I will be able to work on my H1B after returning back in May 2004.
2) Whether my employer can apply for renewal of H1B beyond June 2004 since I am paroled in and I will not have the I-94.

I don’t want to use my Work permit till I-140 is approved.
