Whether I can apply NIW? Can I also apply LC at the same time?

Hi, all,
I am a software developer staff working in a NIH sponsored national center for human brain research. I am not sure whether I can apply NIW since I only have a M.S. degree in computer science. Although I need to do some research in biomedical and brain data mining technology, I am still wondering whether I can apply NIW. I only have two papers published.

By the way, whether I can apply NIW as well as LC at the same time?

Yes

But NIW is tough (almost as tough as EB1). LC/EB2 is safer.

It does not hurt applying more than 1 catogey.
