where to stamp?

Hi, folks:

I just received my I-485 approval written notice. I found there is no stamping information.

The notice wrote: The above application has been approved. The immigration card facility will mail the new alien registration card directly to the applicant in approximately 120 days.

The notice didn't provide any stamping information. Is it normal? Where can I get my passport stamped?

My situation is: I filed 140 and 485 at NSC. I used to work in Columbus, Ohio . I moved to Durham, North Carolina 4 months ago. I filed AC21 when I replied RFE, and 485 got approved a week ago.

Thank you for your help.

Get it stamped at your local ins office...make an infopass appointment (online) and take your AP, EAD, I-94, passport and pics ...(check all required documents before you go)..make sure your passport is valid for atleast 6 months
Best Wishes

Thank you, rdip.

However, the infopass is not available in Charlotte NC. The website always said "At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later."

It is really wierd. I guess I have to try in other time.

I got similar information, but the time to issue the card is 3 weeks. I don't know what to do yet! I will call 1800 tomorrow. Did you file your EAD card online? They might use your online picture and index FP. That's what I holping for.

Thank you for sharing the information.
I have made an appointment via infopass, and will go to the local office to get my passport stamped. Hopefully, they can stamp my passport. I filed EAD card before. Do you think they will use the EAD picture? It is old style (one ear pic).

Could you post your information after you call 1800 number? I will also try to call the number tomorrow.

I called 1800 today, and they told me to do what the letter says. Then, if they find-out that I will need a INFOPASS, they will send me another letter requesting INFOPASS. Do not do anything, until they ask for. So, I will wait another 1.5 weeks, if do not get the card, I will call them back, like welcome letter says.
