where to find EAC number

i have EAD card and ask company for 485 case file number and they told me the EAC number showing on EAD card is the 485 file number to use, is that correct?

ask for your i485 receipt copy (NOA)

from your company or immig lawyer if there's any.
Ask them, "do you heard of anything about Notice of Action (a.k.a NOA) for my I485 applicattion?"

You can also call INS and find out abt EAC # for I485 by giving A-number on ur EAD card.

No thats not correct, every application that you have with INS will have a different EAC #.

Like Abhay said you can give INS your A # and check on your status, but I dont know if they will disclose your EAC #.
