Where to file? MD or VA?

Any opinions on the best state to file MD or VA for family based sponsorship by a USC? Best in terms of processing period and process in general.

I would say MD (VA Arlington DO is real slow at everything), but I guess it depends whether you envisage CP or AOS, 'cos if you're going the CP route, the case is handled by VSC & NVC.

Have a look at the processing times for each office. That may help..

This is through AOS. Is it true that in VA these cases are scrutinized more than the other juridictions?
