Where to file I-90 for corrections?

Hi,

I am confused as to where I should be submitting my I-90 form. My green card was issued with incorrect information due to administrative errors. Should I sent it to Lees Summit from where my GC was mailed or to Chicago (where I filed my I-485 for a family based application)?

I read the I-90 form and it wasn't clear to me.

Thanks for the info.

I read the instructions, and here's what I found:

To find the service center or NBC mailing address, refer to the USCIS letter that came with your Form I-551 permanent resident card, also known as the "Green Card." The letter lists the address of the service center or NBC that processed your previously filed Form I-485, I-751 or I-90 application.

couldn't be any clearer.

The I-90 form also indicates that the application should be sent where the I-485 was filed. I sent my I-485 to Chicago, but the letter I got with my I-551 card has the Lees Summit address. Hence the confusion.

Summerwine, I sent my 485 application to Dallas District Office, but my 485 receipt and the card were sent from Lee's Summit, so I sent my I-90D to Lee's Summit, hope this helps.

Also, I sent out my I90D on April 2nd, today I just got an email from INS saying On May 7 a new card has been ordered for me, and it'll take up to 30 days for me to receive. It's under the same receipt number of my 485.

Thanks zoelee and NW. I'll let you know how it goes.

Zoelee...did you send in the original GC as well with the I-90?

Yes, I sent the card and the letter that came with it. I was told by another poster here that it helps INS process the application. You know when it comes to INS, it doesn't hurt to make it as easy as possible because they are known of making mistakes.

Received notification today!

I finally received an email from USCIS indicating that my welcome notice had been mailed out. I was beginning to get nervous because I hadn't received a receipt for my I-90 and it had been more than a month since I filed it. Anyway, looks like I'll have my GC soon...I hope there are no more errors!

Date of Birth wrong entry on Green Cards ,

Hi,

Thanks for all of your well guided and good learning with Rajiv khanna’s forum and last week I got the Green cards for me and my family.
If anyone helps me to how do I approach to data of birth was wrong entry on my wife’s Green card.
I entered wrong DOB(date only , month and year is correct) of my wife I 485, EAD and AP filing time on 2004 March, after she got EAD and AP with wrong DOB then I informed my attorney then she said return back EAD and AP ,applied new EAD, and AP with Date of birth correction as per passport and birth certificate , then she got new EAD and AP with corrected DOB, while first time fingerprints time they asked about DOB was enter wrong then I explained total scenario after that they said corrected DOB on their website. After that she gave three times Finger prints and biometrics. She got three EADs and AP with all are corrected DOB.
But last week she got Green card with old (wrong date of birth)
I was applied I 485 on Nebraska center and now we are in California. So what shall I do and where do I file I-90
for DOB correction.

Thanks,
Vgk

Send the I-90 to the center which mailed you your GC. I got my GC from Lees Summit and that's where I sent my I-90.

HTH.

How long did it take to get your I-90 processed?

Just wondering how long does it take for I-90 to be processed if the gender is wrong?
Thanks!
