I have a question about where to file I485.
My consulting company\'s main office is in the area which belongs to VSC, and the client I am working with is in the same state with my company\'s main office, and of course I live in the same state. So, my I-140 was filed to VSC and my labor was filed in the state where I am working.
Now, my company has an office in the state belongs to TSC. My questions are:
1. Can I file my 485 with TSC? I have heard that 485 is my petition (not company\'s), so it should be filed to the SC where the state you are living (or working) belongs to, for my case is VSC.
2. If the reason I mentioned above is not the reason, another reason which not allow me filing 485 with TSC is my 140 was filed with VSC?
Anybody with similar experience?
I appreciate your help. Thanks.
