Advise is needed on a Labor Substitution case:
If the LC is approved from CA state (for a company based in CA), where should the I-140 and I-485 filed in the following scenario??
Company "A" is based in CA and it is now acquired by a NJ based company "B". LC was approved by CA state with the name as Company "A". Company "A" got bought by Company "B" and now functions with the name of Company "B". Can a employee of Company "B" based in NJ use the LC of Company "A" (still functioning in CA) and file I-140 & I-485 (concurrent filing)....
If so, where should his I-140 be filed? ===> Should it be CSC as I-140 should be filed at a Service Center where the alien's employment will be??
Since 485 is filed based on the residence of a alien, should his 485 be filed at VSC as the alien resides in NJ??
How does Concurrent filing work in this case??
