Where shd I file the EB1EA

I work & reside in New York - will self petition the EB11 - do I have to file the petition at Vermont or can I do it elsewhere where the processing times are quicker. My lawyer says since I work & will work in NYC - it shd be Vermont. I dont understand that logic - & as you know we need to be on top of these lawyers - any advise will be helpful.

Your lawyer is right. You need to file your petition where your place of residence and work falls under jurisdiction, in your case it is Vermont Center.
