I applied my 2nd AP this April and haven't got the approval yet. It turned out that I am under securoty check. Can anyone kindly answer my following questions?
1. How long does security check usually take?
2. Where is the security check performed? FBI? any other agencies?
3. I knew from FBI that the name check of my 485 was completed last Dec. Is the 485 name check the same as the security check of my AP? If they are the same, why am I going through a 2nd check?
4. If the security check is performed somewhere else other than the FBI, where can I get some information about what's my status?
