GC Interview date - 19Sept06 (San Antonio , TX Office)
GC Stamped on Passport on 17July2007

On interview date / time visa numbers were not available for my category / country. Interview went smooth. Officer said that we will get the GCs when visa numbers.
We were called in for FP again on 17July07 & GC was stamped on PassPort.
After stamping, officer told that we should get card in 3 weeks. It has been 5 months now - no card.
Case status check online says -
"On June 23, 2006, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our CHICAGO, IL location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action."
Called USCIS 800 number several times & they said they read the same msg that is online.
Once I got to talk to an immigration officer who said that their records didnt indicate approval or any status change beyond what is shown online. When I gave her my GC stamp dates etc, she said that local office & central DataBase dont get updated frequently, so asked me to contat local office. I did it & took info pass on 03Oct2007. Spoke to officer & showed the stamp etc. He checked on their computer system & said that file has been sent to processing center for printing the card. It is now Jan2008. No card yet. I am concerned. Any guidance is deeply appreicated.
