March 2007 visa bulletin is not yet released. Not that I am hoping for any big jump in PDs (especially for EB3 INDIA), I am just interested in seeing if there is any progress at all, made by the USCIS folks.

Not much hope ..

mhsoor,

The bulletin will probably come out in a day or two. I am not to hopeful of any forward movement. India EB3 will probably remain in May 2001 for a while. This is just a gut feeling I have. I am more hopeful of forward movement next fiscal year (starts in Oct '07).

I have the same feeling. But I am in a state of flux now. My present company has been bought over by another company. We are soon gonna have major restructuring. I have offers from couple of other companies, but I am not able to decide whether I should make a move now or wait for X (god only knows how many) number of months. By that time, I might miss out on these good opportunities.

Saras,

Could you please eloborate on what basis that you are hoping that PDs will move faster in next fiscal year ?

Looks like Congress doesn't want to take up SKILL or any other related bills separately, but instead want to have any relief to be done as part of CIR, which I think has very little or no hope of passing in its current state.

It is a shame that they want to club reforms/reliefs for legal immigrants with those of fence-jumpers .

Personally,I don't see any sign of light at the end of the tunnel.
