Where does Finger Printing take place? an ASC only or it could also happen at a local FBI office

Where will my FP be scheduled? I live in Mobile, AL which is the most south of Alabama. The close ASCs are Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, New Orleans, LA, and Jackson, MS. Which one will be selected and based on what basis?
Also I know one guy a local of Birmingham, AL didnt have his FP done at Birmingham ASC. His was scheduled at Atlanta, GA. Will mine be also Atlanta, GA.

Your inputs will be greatly appreciated..
 
No idea. So far I haven\'t seen single case from Nashville.

The funny thing is I live just 10 miles from the Local INS office.
 
Anyone who is not living in the one of the ASC city and have been finger printed or FP scheduled
