Where do you file N400?

Hi,

I live in NV. I checked USCIS website and they state that I should file N400 in CA Service center. I checked CA Service Center for their Processing dates and they do not list N400 at all. I did check our local office's processing time and it showed 7 months. so which one is it? Should it be filed to CA SC or local office? Also, can I still file 90 days prior to eligibility date?

You file an N-400 with the Service Center designated for your residence location. Once the SC gets done with their portion of the work, the case file will be transferred to the appropriate District Office for interview, adjudication and oath.
