Where did they mail the physical card to?

According to the online update, a card was mailed to me from the VSC on 2/23. I reside in New York City, and according to the trackers on this website, I should have received the card on last Saturday or so. But I still haven't got it.

Now I wonder where they mailed the card to? To my lawyer, who has not be very responsive, or to me?

I would be grateful if anyone can shed some light on this questions. Thanks in advance.

Cards always go directly to you. Make sure you have a current address on file. Years ago my EAD was missing in the mail (wrong delivery I suspect) and didn't get to me. I had to resubmit an application with fee and it took another month before I finally got it. They only send snail mail, which is worrysome. Gettting lost in mail rarely happens but if it does you get trouble.

Thanks

Thanks a lot! I did give them my valid address and I received all the courtesy letters. Do you know where I can check whether they have my correct address online? Thanks.

thats crazy.. they mail such important documents thru snailmail... after we pay them all this money they cant even mail it UPS or FEDEX to make sure the right party gets it. I wonder what they do with all this money they get.....

Yeah. I checked with the postoffice, and was informed that more probably than not the letter was lost. What should I do next?

I would give it some more time and maybe ask your neighbors with similar house #s to see if they got it. Sometimes it might just be delayed. As I said getting lost in mail rarely happens. It happened to me once, which should've taken away some chances of another getting lost. :) After a while if you still dont' get it, you may call that CIS 800# and see if they get it returned. If they do then verify your address and they'd send it again. If not then I guess you'll have to file an I-90(?) for card replacement.

Still haven't got my card yet. In case I need to reapply, can I ask them to waive the fee as I have never received the card?
thanks in advance.
