I have to file my I-485 along with EAD. My lawyer has given me option to file in any service centre. Can anyone advice me, which service Centre is most preferable.. and works fast on I-485 ?
Ask your lawyer to join this board along with you so that he will learn something.
From where did you get your 140 approved that will be the best choice and second choice will be your judicial district.
It depends on your local address (more than anything else).
BTW, right now Vermont is the best. CSC and NSC are equal and TSC is the worst. But considering the processing time, by the time your turn comes, things might be upside down.
You need to file where you I-140 has been approved from or where you live - in normal cases they would be the same - but if you are with a condulting company and have moved in the interim then it may be different.
However, quick question - if my 140 has been approved in CSC for eg and I am now living in Dallas and I file for my 485 in CSC giving Dallas as my hom address, then where will BCIS send me for FP?? Dallas local or some location in CSC jurisdiction?
