Where are the cards mailed from?

Does anyone know where the green cards are mailed from? Has anyone looked at the postmark? Is it Nebraska or somewhere else?

Really? Mine came from KY but the name of the city was unreadable. It was a plain white envelope with a Lincoln, NE return address. Nowhere did it say that it was from USCIS or DHS. It didn't say "do not forward" either.

You are right. My envelop also looks the same. In my wife's envelop the seal was unreadable too. In mine, it was partially clear. That was how I was able to read the city. This is very interesting. As you stated it does not state "do not forward" either. Hope this information will help somebody who is waiting for their card.

But i called my previous post office and asked to hold mail today and not forward to my current address

I did not have an interview. My I-485 was approved and then received the card. so my case will be different from you.

Unfortunately you were approved in April. I believe that anyone approved before May is getting the card processed using the old system, which is by going to their local office, giving them 2 passport pictures, signing a piece of paper, etc. After you do that, it will take 3-8 months to receive the card, so hopefully you'll get the card this month or the next one. I'm sorry about that.

Hopefully you have the I-551 stamp which allows you to travel if needed.
