When wll the October floodgates open?

I've noticed quite a few October approvals but not nearly enough. I guess most of us are waiting. When will the floodgates open? Will this be after the INS officially says it is processing 10/1/2001 applications rather than what they now officially say i.e. 9/15/2001.

Any guesses my fellow sufferers?

I think approvals could pick up steem quickly!

I remember waiting for my I-140 approval and according to the INS processing time update it would have taken 3 months more than it actualy took - all of a sudden I had the approval.

Looking at past processing updates the INS sometimes shows no progress and then all of a sudden they jump three months at once. Also, if the rupnet sample is an indication of how many I-485s were filed per month then the number of I485s per month is dropping quite a bit starting in October (only half of what was filed the previous months) so my guess is that January RD will get approved in November/December. Wishful thinking is involved too I admit.

bandra my guess is that by mid Nov all Ocotober should be approved(obviously there will be some RFEs and some unnoticed cases as in other months but generally)
And yes there is no point calling them as they would keep saying that they are processing mid sep till they come up with a new official release.
