When will my PD get current?

I am EB3 case, India and my PD is Sep 2002. Can somebody tell me when will it get current? What are your logics to estimate it?

Optimistic guess 2 years. based on current visa bulletin, if things go south 3-4 years to get a visa number assuming name check,interview are all cleared.

My logic: There are no more surplus visa numbers available due to 245i, so India's EB3 will be restricted to country limit of 2800 visa numbers per year (as opposed to 45,000/year) in past.

How many India EB3 people are in front of you? divide that by 2800. That many years!

EB3 community is currently in a huge denial that things cannot get any worse. Simple numerical analysis (even by extremely liberal estimates) predict a retrogression catastrophe in the making.

What abt Eb2 PD of 2006..
We are Jan 2003 right now. How long should one expect 2006 PD to become current??

Any guesses? Will the new quota in Oct also have 6 month movements for the first few months atleast??

I don't have any firm predictions, but expect EB2 to move forward at much faster pace. Unlike, EB3, EB2 does not have a bottleneck. If I had to guess, I'll guess 1-2 years, one tenth of EB3.
