When will I receive AP ?

Hello All,

My AP 03-154 was approved on 07/21. On 07/23 the msg changed to

Application Type: I131, APPLICATION FOR BCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

Current Status:

On July 23, 2003, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

It has not arrived as to yesterday's mail (07/28). I was wondering when can I expect to get AP in the mail. I am planning to travel on 07/31. Also since I do not need AP to exit the country, can I leave without AP and then have it Couriered over.

Any suggestions and experiences will be appreciated

Don't worry, it'll arrive. After looking at many posts here, I can tell you that they actually send the AP 4 business days after they say they sent it. So I bet they are sending the AP today and it'll arrive by Saturday.
 
well let me give u the other side of the inefficeny of this system. My second aP WAS APPROVED more than 3 months ago (april 22) but there is still no sign of it, loadsof inquiries later i figure that i have to apply for a new one..What the heck..i will go for an emergency AP if I need it..Those BCIS folks lost my AP in the mail

So keep a sharp eye on it..
 
mine was approved on 7/14 and still waiting...

my AP message says "On July 14, 2003, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued." but, as of 7/29, it's not here yet. :confused:

Eventually

I have not yet got my AP from the local INS office. But this is what I plan to do, go to the local San Jose office with a copy of my approved BCIS web site notice. tell them that BCIS lost my AP and so need an emergency AP. My lawyer says that they will give it!

Let's see, i plan to go next week, will update u
 
recvd my AP on 8/6

my AP was approved on 7/14/2003. it was sent to my lawyer who received it on 8/6 and forwarded to me.

my last AP was actually mailed directly to my address but this one went to my lawyer.

hope u receive ur AP soon (or have received it already).
