When to send 485 papers

My EB2 priority date is May 2002 which has become current in Apr 2006. My 140 hasn't been filed yet. My lawyer is thinking of filing 140/485 con currently.

Can we send all the papers together in march 2006 even though dates are not current in march.

Yes, you can file your papers together. Do it ASAP.

I guess you have to wait till april 1, 2006 before you can file I-485.

Make sure your 485 application reaches on or after 01 Apr.
