When to expect fingerprint appointment letter?

We applied for family based green card (marriage to USC) on August 31st. Everything was sent to Chicago lockbox, and we live in Chicago.

The NOAs mentioned that we would be sent a further letter giving me a fingerprint appointment date and telling me where to go for this. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes for an appointment date/time to be allocated? Is it a few weeks, or even months?

We are in a multi-unit building, so it would be helpful to know approximately when to look out for the letter.

my FP letter came after roughly 15 days after filing...it was code3...hope this helps...
