When to expect AD after FD at VSC

From the cases already approved and what VSC IIO
  said, you can expect a final decision in 30-90
  calendar days after your fingerprint is taken.

  If your fingerprint is taken and sent electronically
  to FBI (for example, fingerprints done at
  Newark ASC), you could expect the approval in
  30 days. (less than 1 week for FBI to clear
  and send result back to INS, then 1-2 weeks
  for VSC to log result into computer system,
  then, if your PD is current, your case will
  get on an officer\'s desk and will be approved
  in 1-2 weeks).

  If your fingerprint is sent to FBI through
  mails (like in many other INS offices), it takes
  several weeks before it gets to FBI, then
  another several weeks for the result to
  get back to VSC.
