when to apply?

Hi - I will be completing 5 years on green card in Dec 2009. How many days before can i send in my citizenship application? is it 180 days before or 90 days.

90 days, but the thing is if you do get an interview before your exact 5 years, you will have to go back for another interview or swearing in. You must meet the exact qualification atleast on the day of your oath.
I would actually go with 60 days.
