When to apply for US CITIZENSHIP?

My wife got permenant resident card in July,2001 in family
sponsorhip category through parents.

She was studying back home and used to come to US for 2-3 months and then went back till She married to me in January,2005 and living in US continiously since then.

When can she apply for citizenship?

In year JUNE,2004, she applied for re-entry permit for two years but didn't utilized the re-entry permit i.e returned to US in January,2005 because she married with me.And now living continiously with me since Jan,2005.
