When to apply for Naturalisation

Hello all,

I heard that one can apply for Naturalisation 3 months before completeing 5 years after GC (i.e. 3 months before satisfying the residency requirement). Is that correct? Is it mentioned in any authentic website?

Thanks in advance.

You should apply when you can spell, read and write English correctly. :p :p :p :p :p
Try to be nice atleast during the holiday season. Nobody is perfect!!

To WouldBeCitizen:

In krishnagc's defense, the spelling of many words in British English (which has been incorporated for the most part by the Indian Educational System) is quite different from American English, so it's all a matter or perspective on what is "correct" in terms of spelling....

Happy Holidays everyone and Good Luck with your FPs/Interviews/Oaths!!
