okay - so I'm still reasonably new to all this and getting pretty frustrated - I need some straight answers, as getting all sorts of conflicting advice.
my husband is on a J1 visa - myself and my children are on J2's. The J's run out on August 4th.
My husband has a job offering to sponser a H1B. If we apply now - can I be certain that all are already taken from April? If we apply in October wehich I understand is the next date - when would the H1B ( assuming we were accepted) become valid?
