When Should I File for 7th year Extn?

Hi All,

My LC was filed in October 2003 and I'm completing my 6th year on July 12th 2005. As per the regulations, what is the earliest period am eligible to apply for my 7th year extn visa?

How much is the fees for applying 7th year extn visa?

A friend of mine just applied (premium processing) and got his 7th year extn. His attorney told, they have to do it 6 months prior to the expiration. You would have to file for extn. after Jan 15, 2005.

Fees, I am not sure, check the BCIS site. There were some changes just a few days back.
 
Thanks guys......One of my friend when he got his 7th year extn approval notice....it didn't have the I-94...and he was asked to go out of country to get it stamped and re-enter. Why is that? Normally I believe 7th year extn approval comes with printed I-94!

Please advise.
