when should I do infopass appt?

Hi,

With your experience, How long should I wait before I try the infopass appt?

Its been over 5 weeks since FP and no IL yet.

Please help.

App Receipt: 7/6
FP Notice: 7/9
FP Done: 7/18
IL: Not yet

Did you look at https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/officeProcesstimes.jsp?selectedOffice=17 ? They claim to be handling applications with a November priority date.

My (and my wife's) interview was scheduled 6 months to a day after my fingerprinting. Take it easy -- find a "timeline" thread for your DO on this site and see who's being interviewed these days

I also applied at VSC - Cherry Hill DO. CH seems to be slow compared to Newark. My priority date in late April (4/26) and I am still waiting for my interview letter. BTW, there is a Cherry hil processing times thread. COuld you please post your timeline on that thread as well.

Dallas Office.

I had an interview scheduled last May (6 months to the day after FP), but about a week before the interview, they realized that my file had not yet arrived, so they descheduled my interview (my wife had hers, and is a USC now). Apparently everything is fine with my file -- the Dallas DO apparently just wants to drive me crazy.

Here is my timeline. I hope yours works out better:

Biometrics Letter: September 29, 2005
Biometrics Appointment: November 5, 2005
Interview Letter: March 23, 2006
Interview Scheduled: May 5, 2006
Descheduling Letter: April 24, 2006

1st InfoPass Appointment: May 16, 2006
2nd InfoPass Appointment: June 30, 2006
3rd InfoPass Appointment: July 28, 2006

My Wife’s Interview: May 5, 2006
My Wife’s Oath: June 1, 2006
