I have a BS in Computer Science. I am working on H1B for the last 1 year and 8 months for an oil company in Texas (80,000 + employee world wide). This is my first and only employer with 2+ yrs exp.
The division of my company I work for (500+ people) had a lay-off in around March 2005 for about 10 - 12 people due to budget constrains. None of these people were from the same job title as I am. Also, one person who is a software engineer was fired 3 months ago, due to poor performance from my group (15+ people).
Please let me know if this is a good time to apply for my GC (PERM Process) or should I wait?? If so, I long should I wait??
Also, has anyone heard of PERM approval on EB3 cases??
