When plastic?

I've got my passport stamped on Oct. 18, 2002 (Memphis).
Any idea when I should receive the plastic card from TSC?
Also, is there any way to check on the progress by phone or
internet?

A friend of mine got his green card (plastic) after two weeks of stamping but the officer told him he was going to get his green in six months.

I would like to know when you did your finger print. I just did mine a week ago in Nashville. I am wondering when they might call me for interview or stamping.

Likewise, I've been told (at stamping) it may take 9-12 months for the actual card. However, I know many people in TSC
region get theirs within 1-2 months, as you indicated.

Perhaps not that lucky, just happen to work
for an employer that has a tad more leverage with INS.

Card ordered

Today the AVM message for my I-485 has changed to
"Your card has been ordered on Nov. 6". Any idea on how
long it takes from that to actually receiving the card?

I just got the result of my fingerprint from INS. I am also waiting for interview soon.

The plastic card has arrived today (Nov. 12),
just three weeks after passport stamping.
