hi all
applied 485. my dependents(still on h4, not taken AP) wants to go to india for 3-4 months,
while they are out of US and 485 approved:
        1. what is exact procedure to get in US? just come here and get the stamping
        or
        2. do we need to something at POE? is there any kind of issues?
        3. do they need to come immediately here for stamping?
        4. continue to that question what if primary applicant is out of US and
        gets approved?
        5. is that we need to enter using AP must?

any useful links to this subject?
has anyone gone through same before? please explain.
please your replies are greatly appreciated.

    thanks

I argued this extensively a couple weeks ago.

Another common situation, not specifically mentioned in the INS memo but previously authorized in INS instructions, is if the I-485 application is approved after the applicant\'s departure from the U.S. In that circumstance, it is typical to grant deferred inspection, so that the person can go to the local INS office and obtain the permanent residency stamp in the passport.

If I already have AP....

If I already have AP before departing USA and while I am out of country for a month, if my 485 gets approved, can I still get back using my AP safely?
