My circumstances are pretty normal. My wife entered on a b1/b2 visa and subsequently I become a citizen and then filed for her greencard based on marriage. Been married since 2001 but my wife entered the US for the first time last year. My wife went into overstay whilst I was waiting for my citizenship to be approaved but she didn't exceed six months. So my question is what benefit can a lawyer provide at the interview if we are sufficiently prepared outselves? My lawyer charges $900 to represent us at the interview.
Does anybody have a list of typical things they look for at the interview?
Are joint bank accounts mandatory?
