When I can proceed with citezenship in my situation?

Hi, I have lots of questions.. I would highly appreciate it, if I could get answers to them. I had a long interview with an immigration lawyer last week, and it did not help, because he was not sure in almost anything, though he was trying to help me. So I would be happy to get any answers.

My green card situation:
Got it in January 2002.
Stayed in US:
Jan 2002 -- July 4th 2002.
December 15th 2002 -- January 15th 2003
June 15th 2003 -- August 20th 2003
(got re-entry permit. It is not stamped -- I forgot to show it coming back the next year, and the officer in the airport did not ask for it.)
September 5th 2004 -- December 15th 2004
January 1st 2005 -- till now.

Questions about my situation:
1. When I would be eligible to apply for Citizenship and would I ever?
2. Could they revoke my green card if I apply next September 2006?
3. If I continue to stay in US for 6-8 months every year and work (I can not stand it to stay for the full year, 'cos I have my fiance and my Mom overseas), when there a hope to get a Citizenship?
4. If I come to US twice a year for two weeks, and at some point 2-3 years later will finally decide to pursue the citizenship, would it be any hope for me to get it? Would it be any hope to obtain a new green card if I come into the US every 6 months for 2 weeks and maintain the residency (say, have an ID with an address of my friends' place on it)?

Thanks and my taxes!

Thank you very much for your reply!

>BTW, did you file US taxes as resident? Not doing so would also indicate abandonment of the GC.

No, I did not make taxes for 2002 and 2003. I was living overseas. For all other years 2000, 2001, 2004-2005 (I hope) I was filing my taxes.

Should I try to pay taxes for those 2002 and 2003 years now (I do not have any W2 or any proof of earnings, but I was doing some free-lancing for my American friends/partners while being outside the US -- I am graphic designer, could and should I pay taxes from that money that I made during that time?).

Can my green card be taken away if I did not file taxes for those years and apply for Citizenship in 4 years from September 5, 2004? (I remember a question somewhere 'Did you ever fail to make a tax return' -- but I basically did not have anything to make it from, though I could try to improve it now, what do you think?)

I would appreciate greatly your response.
Thanks!
