When I can apply for citizenship

I have a question regarding when I can apply for citizenship. I had residency via L2 for since 2000 but there was a law suit going on so my greencard wasn't "permanent" I had to get a stamp once a year, and later I've gotten my greencard via Diversity Visa in 2007 and forfeited my L2 status. Would I be able to apply for citizenship after 3 years or the years of residency starts counting at the time I received my DV greencard.

It will be 5 years after you adjustment of status date in 2007, unless you are married to a US Citizen only then it is 3 years.
