When funds proof will be asked?

I applied in FEB 2005 and got my AOR in Mar 2005.I'm waiting for my IA.

Does anybody know when proof of funds will be asked(At which stage)?

Will it be asked during IA/Interview/Landing?

It's an emergency....Does anybody know when?

u were supposed to send proof of funds when you submitted ur application. Since they didnt return ur application and started processing it, they can ask for the same anytime during IA or before that.

Wait for IA and see what it says...
 
I sent the bank stmts along with my application.But will they ask again? And should the amount and accounts match with that of what I sent ealier with my application.

Since I need that money for an emergency use,I wanted to know when they would again request for the proof of funds.I'm waiting for my IA.My file is in LA and my AOR is MARCH 2005.Do u know for which AOR date is IA being requested?

if you have sent it already they are not going to ask the same again. (most probably). They didnt ask for me.

I didnt get your 2nd question.....
 
I submitted few bank stmts showing the proof of funds with the application.Now my doubt is if again proof of funds(stmts) for the funds will be asked again during IA when they request for medicals,etc.
If they ask again,should the amt in the stmts that I submitted with the initial application and the amt in the current stmts be the same.And should the current stmt have the same account no?

During the interview,will they ask to bring the stmts?

Because if not I can use some money for an emergency situation.
 
If you are asked for an interview, they might ask for all documentation again. But I dont think, you will have to show the exact bank statement, acct etc. As long as you can prove that you have necessary funds, then thats fine.

To my knowledge, Canadian Immigration Officials are very flexible and you just have to be honest. Thats all.

Good luck. Be patient and wait for IA..... Will turn out fine....
 
Thanks for ur reply.Can u tell me if 401K,cd's and IRA can be shown as proof of funds?

Which others can be showed as funds?
