b) After I-140 approval

Which one is correct?

EAD is a interim benefit given based on a pending I-485. Meaning you can only apply EAD when your 485 is filed. Ofcourse, you could file them together or file EAD after getting the receipt of 485. Again, if your PD is current, you could file all the applications (140+485+EAD+AP) in one pacakge (called concurrent filing).
