The pattern for receiving FP from TSC is: if you don't get a FP notice one to two months after RD, you will wait 12-18 months for it. Not sure what is the logic behind this, but as we all know with most TSC activities chaos happens to be the norm.
With the slow processing times it might be better to get FP late in the game, as these would not expire before the case comes in line for adjudication. The "lucky" ones getting FP one month after RD are most likely going to need to do 2nd FP in 15 months time.
The rule from the 2002 processing patterns that adjudication comes 2-3 months after FP is no longer present. The oldest cases (Apr, May June 2001) waited for 18 months to get their first FP and are now aproaching 12 months after first FP.
I hope we will all get adjudicated before the need to do a 2nd FP, because of expiration of the first ones.
