When does INS update the Online Status

I am trying to figure out when does INS update the online status?

Do they update at as they approve?
Or do they update once a day?

Does anyone have any idea about this?
 
I think

its throughout the day.

I remember seeing posts that said that the person checked at 9 and it wasnt approved and was an hour later.

So keep checking your cases!

Sometimes they don't update the status, becoz I applied for EAD and got it a few days back. I still see the old status - " we are processing ...." on the online webpage.

As a side note.
If someone uses scripts or otherwise to check about 1000 times a day, then INS webmaster blocks access to that person.
So check your status but don't go wild. :p
 
I think they update pretty frequently

From my experience, I think they update at the same time of approval. The postoffice returned my approved EAD because I forgot to put my name on the mailbox. I called VSC and asked them to send it again. Just 15mins after the call when I checked the online status, they'd changed. I guess I485 is the same. So, keep online the checking. After get approval, don't forget to leave a message here!:cool:
