When does 2nd FP become due......

Hello,

My PD has been current for the past 3 months. My FP was done back in May 2005 - Now it's over a year. I have following questions:

How would one know when the 1st FP expire?

When does normally one has to go for 2nd FP?

Does INS sends out a notice for geting 2nd FP?

Experts please help...

Fingerprints are valid for 15 months. Some time after that, but before your case gets adjudicated, (not necessarily exactly 15 months later though) you will get a notice from the USCIS to redo your fingerprints.
