When do they take your Green Card away? At Interview or at Oath?

Hi,

So I am about to go to my Citizenship interview, and I may have two business trips to Mexico and Argentina/Brasil between the interview time and oath.

Does anyone know when they take the Green Card away? If they take it away at interview, how do I go out and come back into the US during that time?

My application is at SF office.
